🌍 BLADES2BUILD at PPI 2026 | Advancing Circularity in Composite Materials!

👉 We are pleased to share that BLADES2BUILD was represented at the 6th International Polymer Process Innovation Conference (PPI 2026), held from 1–4 September 2026, contributing to the international discussion on innovative and circular approaches for polymer and composite materials.

 

♻️ During Session 1: Recycling, Dionisis Semitekolos from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), R-NanoLab, School of Chemical Engineering, delivered the keynote presentation:

🎤 “Engineering Circularity in Composite Structures: From End-of-Life Recycling to Reuse, Requalification and Value Retention”

 

📍 The keynote provided an excellent opportunity to disseminate BLADES2BUILD activities and results, highlighting pathways for transforming end-of-life composite materials from waste into valuable secondary resources and supporting their reuse and integration into new value chains.

 

💡 Through participation in international scientific events such as PPI 2026, BLADES2BUILD continues to strengthen knowledge exchange, expand its international visibility, and contribute to the transition towards a more circular and resource-efficient composites sector. 🌱♻️
