👉 Today we visited the BLADES2BUILD demonstration plant, a major achievement after three years of dedication, collaboration, research, and engineering. While full recycling operations will begin soon, seeing the plant ready and the process prepared for implementation was a proud and defining moment for everyone involved.

 

🔎 After three years of collaboration, research, engineering, testing, and perseverance, this achievement stands as a true testament to what innovation and partnership can accomplish. Turning end-of-life wind turbine blades into new resources for the built environment is no longer just a concept — it’s happening.

🔔 The day continued with a visit to Holcim España facilities, where we saw firsthand how recycled materials can be integrated into concrete production at scale. Witnessing the synergy between blade recycling and sustainable concrete solutions reinforces the transformative potential of this project.
