🏛️✨ Beyond the Workshop: Exploring Aachen and Strengthening Connections! 🇩🇪♻️

🔎 Science brought us together, and Aachen gave us the perfect opportunity to connect beyond the workshop room! 🌍

👉 Following the successful completion of the first day of the BLADES2BUILD Workshop – “Environmental Compliance and Sustainability Beyond Compliance for Circular WTB Solutions,” on 8 October 2026 at RWTH Aachen University, our participants enjoyed a wonderful guided city tour through the historic city of Aachen!

🏰 After a full day of insightful lectures, practical demonstrations and engaging discussions, the city tour offered a fantastic opportunity to discover Aachen’s rich history, impressive architecture and cultural heritage.

🤝 Beyond sightseeing, it was a valuable occasion for informal networking, meaningful conversations and strengthening connections among participants in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

💚 At BLADES2BUILD, we believe that collaboration extends beyond scientific discussions. Sharing experiences, building relationships and exchanging ideas are equally important in advancing research, innovation and circular solutions.

🙏 A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful tour guide for making the experience so informative and enjoyable, and to all our participants for contributing to such a memorable evening!

✨ Great research connects people. Shared experiences build lasting collaborations!
