🌍✈️ BLADES2BUILD was presented in Japan! 🇯🇵
👉 The BLADES2BUILD project was proudly presented at the 12th International Conference on the Environmental and Technical Implications of Construction with Alternative Materials (WASCON 2026), held in Fukuoka, Japan, from 18–21 May 2026.
📍 Our partner Eindhoven University of Technology – Ceren Duyal Kulak shared BLADES2BUILD’s work on transforming end-of-life wind turbine blades into valuable resources for sustainable construction.
💡 The participation in WASCON 2026 strengthened our international cooperation, fostered knowledge exchange, and created new opportunities for cooperation with researchers and industry experts worldwide. Through these interactions, BLADES2BUILD continues to expand its international network and contribute to the global transition towards circular construction materials. 🤝♻️
📸 As part of the conference, participants also joined a technical visit to the Sorting Space of Municipal Solid Waste at the Seibu Incineration Plant in Fukuoka, gaining valuable insights into advanced waste sorting and management practices that support the transition to a circular economy.
🙏 Together, we continue to build international partnerships that drive innovation and accelerate the adoption of circular solutions for the construction industry!
